Kay and I have lived in Spokane since 1958 but are natives of the Inland Empire. Kay being born and raised in Coeur d’Alene and I being raised in Orofino, Idaho. We are both Graduates of the University of Idaho. We have three wonderful children, 1 daughter and 2 sons. Naturally, we did all the PTG’s, Campfire Girls, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Spokane Symphony, Museum of Arts & Culture —- ect, ect. In my time off, when not selling Real Estate, I personally like to spend time at our cabin on Lake Roosevelt with a good book.
As for business experience, I was with James S. Black & Co. for 17 years, starting as a salesperson in 1967, then became an Associate Broker in 1971, then a Branch Manager, then a Regional Branch Manager. I was the first person to be awarded the Certificate of Real Estate and the Graduate of the Real Estate Institute by the Washington Association of Realtors. I have served on almost every committee, Board of Directors, all offices including President 1983 of the Spokane Association of Realtors. This gives you the benefit of knowing and networking with other Realtors in the Spokane market for a faster sale of your property. Also, having served on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Fair Housing Committee, Washington Association of Realtors gives me the unique position to network statewide. As a member of the Spokane Association Million Dollar Club allows me to know and work with Spokane realtors who are the work horses of real estate in your own area.
